Questions parents ask

What age is Space Words for?

Space Words suits children aged 6 to 10 who know their letters and are starting to read. Beginners can pick 3-letter words on 🐢 Slow, while strong readers can blast big words like rainbow and dinosaur on 🚀 Fast.

Does typing words help with reading and spelling?

Yes. To type a word, your child has to look at every letter in order, which supports spelling. The sight words level uses the words that appear most often in early reading books, so practising them helps with reading as well.

What happens if my child makes a mistake?

Nothing bad. A wrong key gives a soft sound and the rock keeps falling, so your child simply presses the right key. If they started the wrong rock, Backspace lets them switch. Rocks only cost a ❤️ if they reach the rocket.
