How to play Balloon Pop
Balloons with letters float up from the bottom of the sky. Your child presses the matching key on the keyboard to pop each balloon. The balloon closest to the top glows, and so does its key on the on-screen keyboard. Each round lasts 60 seconds.
- Home row (A S D F G H J K L) is the best place to start.
- 🐢 Slow suits 4 and 5 year olds. The glowing key on the on-screen keyboard shows which key to press.
- Pop at least 90% of the balloons to earn 3 ⭐ stars and fill up the sticker book.
- On a tablet, tap the keys on the on-screen keyboard.

Questions parents ask
What age is Balloon Pop for?
Balloon Pop suits children aged 4 to 8. Four and five year olds do best on 🐢 Slow with the home row, because the glowing key on the on-screen keyboard always shows which key to press. Confident 7 and 8 year olds can try 🚀 Fast with all letters.
How does Balloon Pop help my child learn to type?
Each balloon asks your child to find one letter on the keyboard, so they learn where every key is without reading. Popping the same letters again and again builds memory, and starting with the home row prepares their fingers for touch typing.
Can my child play without a keyboard?
Yes. On a tablet or phone, children tap the letters on the on-screen keyboard under the sky. A real keyboard is best for learning, but tapping still teaches letter recognition and where the keys sit.
